"Schubertiade", Julius Schmid, 1897
Salon culture, an Italian invention which reached its peak in the drawing rooms of Europe in the 19th century, has now all but disappeared. It was the most important place for the exchange of ideas, with inspiring hosts who would bring together interesting guests and performers for a truly enlightening evening of music, literature, and discussion.
Now Bojan is offering a unique opportunity to experience this again, in a series of exquisitely tailored concerts designed for private homes. You and your guests can hear a special programme of solo or accompanied violin music enhanced by informative discussion (and close viewing) of the manuscripts from which Bojan plays, as well as the beautiful 1680 Ruggieri violin which is kindly on loan to him through the Jumpstart Jr. Foundation.
To find out more, fill out the contact form here, or email Bojan directly at bojan.cicic@gmail.com. We would love to design a programme suited to your specifications, whether you're planning a lavish garden party or an intimate winter discussion dinner.
